* Line and Paragraph Spacing *


* In this chapter, we will learn how to set Line and Paragraph Spacing in Microsoft Word. Microsoft word allows us to use these option in many needs. Line spacing is the distance between two lines and Paragraph Spacing is the distance between two paragraphs. We can increase or decrease this distance as per our need. Now we will learn how to set the distance between two lines as well as how to set the distance between two paragraphs. So, lets start:


Spacing between Lines:


⇨ How to set Line Spacing?

a) At first write down any text / paragraph(s).

b) Select the text/ paragraph(s).

c) Click on Home tab.





d) Click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing drop down button and select any value as your need.





Spacing between Lines:


⇨ How to set Line Spacing?

a) At first write down any text / paragraph(s).

b) Select the text/ paragraph(s).

c) Click on Home tab.

d) Click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing drop down button and select Line Spacing Options.





*** Or you can click on Paragraph Group button and Paragraph Dialog Box will open.





e) Click on Before or After increase or decrease option in Spacing.

f) Then click on Ok.









*** you can also adjust Line Spacing from this dialog box.


✓ To delete Line Spacing select 1.0 and to delete Paragraph Spacing select Remove Space After Paragraph option, or you can remove spacing from Paragraph Dialog Box.
